HELLO!

I am an Illustrator... and Cat Lover | Black Tea Drinker | Pink Addict!

I have two black cats named Nippy and Drizzle.

I got them when moving back to Austria after studying in Dublin. That's why their names are an homage to the Irish weather and all my treasured memories.

MY STUDIO

In my studio I can be as messy as I want and just lose myself when working. Digital and traditional media are both prominent in my work. To keep me motivated I like to put up small decorations and trinkets which remind me of some great memories. I love to re-arrange everything once in a while to keep it fresh.

Many of my personal illustrations are rooted in fantasy, magic and the mystical, as I have quite the thing for witches. I guess it’s a good thing that my lucky number is 13.

NINA SCHINDLINGER

I’m from Austria, a small village called Allhaming. But I’ve lived in Ireland for ~3 years. At first I was an Au Pair in Cork. Later I moved to Dublin to follow my goal of becoming an Illustrator by studying at Ballyfermot College of Further Education. Travelling makes me happy in general, not just for educational purposes!

MY CATS

I have two black cats named Nippy and Drizzle.

I got them when moving back to Austria after studying in Dublin. That's why their names are an homage to the Irish weather and all my treasured memories.

MY LOVE FOR JAPAN

My Japanese inspiration is undeniable. When I was about 13 years old I decided to take drawing more seriously and focus on improving. Before I mostly drew from Anime and Manga. Without Japan, I probably wouldn’t be an Illustrator today. 2018 I fulfilled my dream of visiting Japan for the first time. And it won’t be the last.
